Lattice™ T-series

The aesthetic appearance and ease of customization of the Lattice™ T-series makes it popular for visible integration on the exterior or interior of building facades and other structures creating large Media Facades. Every feature of the customized design is adapted to perfectly fit the aesthetics of the surroundings and the desired performance level, typically for night-time applications.

Lattice™ T-Series are LED fixtures with a diffused polycarbonate front integrated onto a rigid aluminium base, ideally suited for creating large scale architectural and media lighting areas with elegant lines of light, requiring only limited additional mounting structure.

The Lattice™ T-Series strips can be assembled into any desired configuration with many strips joined together to form a long array, limited to a maximum of 1 024 pixels connected to a single data input from a RS-Block, also referred to as a “data zone”. Additional DC power may be injected into the array of strips at strategic points, as required, by means of power cables terminated with T-connectors without interrupting the data flow. This permits a very simple and logical system architecture which is efficient in minimizing cable routing on very large area Media Facades.

LED Media Façade installations typically require a substantial amount of power and data cables, cable ducts, and cable pulling. Minimizing wiring reduces installation complexity, power consumption and overall cost.

At VML we offer solutions tailored to the unique needs of each location to ensure optimal system efficiency and installation convenience. Therefore we offer two options for the system configuration for all Lattice™ products. Both systems are based on the proprietary VML Picturebox processing, but they differ in some processing components, and cabling. Both system options deliver the exact same high-performance levels, with the choice depending on equipment placement options and wiring preferences.
