The Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge store is located in the historic building where the international luxury retail chain first began in 1831. In 2015, as part of a global rebranding and refurbishment program, Harvey Nichols undertook a significant upgrade to a large part of their Knightsbridge store, enlisting the expertise of Virgile and Partners Retail Architects. This modernization aimed to enhance both the customer experience and the store’s visual impact.

Following the successful completion of the LED video lighting installation at The Mailbox in Birmingham, VML-Technologies was once again engaged to deliver a suitable system for Harvey Nichols. This collaboration marked the second time VML-Technologies was entrusted with such a task, demonstrating their expertise and proven track record in delivering high-quality lighting solutions. For this project, VML-Technologies designed a high-resolution interior advertising LED display for the ground-floor window and an interior LED video lighting system. These elements were specifically chosen to create a dynamic and immersive shopping environment, enhancing both brand visibility and customer engagement.

The installation was carefully planned to seamlessly integrate with the store’s elegant design, ensuring a harmonious blend of form and function. The result was a visually striking display that effectively communicated Harvey Nichols’ luxury brand image while providing a modern, sophisticated shopping experience.
