Bespoke design for ultimate power efficiency

A handpicked team of experts has pushed the boundaries of innovation to create The Edge, setting a new global standard for efficiency and sustainability. The fusion of sophisticated design and cutting-edge technology resulted in an outstanding 98.36% BREEAM-NL sustainability score, cementing The Edge’s status as one of the world’s most sustainable buildings back in 2016.

VML-Technologies is extremely proud to have been selected for the design, production, and installation of the transparent daylight-visible LED Media Facade. The final design is based on bespoke “high-brightness-low power” Lattice LED video fixtures, which are seamlessly integrated into the interior side of the glass facade, positioned precisely between the window frames. The detailing of the lattice strips and frames has been meticulously coordinated to ensure that no visible cables or mounting hardware are exposed.

This careful design approach allows the system to blend effortlessly with the aesthetics of the glass facade. The power supplies and controllers for the system are seamlessly integrated into custom-made cabinets hidden behind the lower mullions.
