Custom designed to realise the architect's vision

Nothing less than a unique, integrated LED media façade was envisioned for the flagship Esprit store in downtown Hong Kong. For the new store a total transformation of the old building facade was envisioned. The architect aimed for a cutting-edge dynamic architectural LED video lighting system, not seen ever before, to create maximum visual impact, whilst achieving a 100% seamless integration with the building façade, ensuring the LED system harmonized with the architecture without compromising its aesthetic appeal.

The architect conceived a custom-designed pixel structure featuring glass-domed lenses. This innovative design not only enhanced the store’s appearance during the daytime—transforming it into an elegant and attractive landmark—but also turned the façade into a dynamic, ‘living’ surface after dark. At night, the LED media façade came to life, with vivid, ever-changing visuals that captured the energy and vibrancy of the city. Additionally, the system was engineered to optimize energy efficiency and long-term reliability, aligning with Esprit’s commitment to sustainable practices.

This ground-breaking installation not only redefined the visual identity of Esprit’s flagship store but also contributed to the dynamic urban landscape of downtown Hong Kong. The result is a façade that seamlessly blends artistry and technology, drawing attention and creating memorable experiences for passers-by.
